A reminder post with a little meat on it. Its officially Feb 1st, that means as of today, staffers can start working on new zoid bios! :3 Remember, that means new staffers too! So jump onboard staff now!
Also remember that people who apply now get extra money to start! 15k, and referals are still worth 20k! But theres more then that ladies and gentlemen!
MMM loves new members, we love them like candy, and we want more people in 2008 then any other year! Many of you also post on other forums, visit other sites :3 so, you do us a favor we do you one! Post an ad for MMM, letting people know what were about and give a link both to the site and application link, and you'll recieve an extra 25k and a one shot organoid slip! All you have to do is make your post, and send a PM to me, once I approve it you'll get your reward! If your ad is extra flashy, I'll make sure you get a little more!

New Weapon Images! Again? Yes. Stompy 01.30.2007
So it seems I can only do these a few at a time! I've just uploaded a batch of six new images in Exclusive Parts 2. Specifically: the Grappler Saws, Cross Reaver Unit, Magnum, Sunfire Cannon, Banshee Unit and the brutal Valkyrie Cannons. Do these images match up with your own, carefully crafted imaginings? Do you approve of the frankly ridiculous levels of shiny chrome on show? Do you have any ideas for the visualisations of the remaining weapons? I for one couldn't care less.

Hey everybody! Its finally 2008, and its finally time for me to do some updatage on the front page! For those of you on the forums, you know we've been doing updates behind the scenes. :3 so the front pages 4 months of inactivity is like the cake. It is a LIE!
So, whats new for 2008? Well, first of all pilot and judge apps are still open. Lately alot of people have been asking what to do to reset as well. If you want to reset, its the same as if you were a new applicant. You must lose ALL your current character information funds and zoids and start over from scratch with no exceptions. You submit a new bio, with correct starting zoids to characterapplications on the forum, and if you get accepted you update your information accordingly. Bam! Reset. If your not accepted, you keep your current character info. Very easy!
If you've been applying, but not accepted yet, good news! We've decided that from January first until march first we will be giving everyone who applies a little extra starting money. Instead of 10k you'll get 15k. Its just a bit of an incentive for those who are still waiting. If you keep getting rejected, make use of the citizen forum and please keep in mind that MMM's characters are all human, from the planet Zi, without superpowers :3 ok thanks!
Now onto the good stuff. THIS YEAR, WE WILL BE ADDING NEW CONTENT TO M3! We will be adding the first of new parts to the site very soon. Alot of new parts will come all through 2008 for all zoids. Additionally, On Feb 1st we will reopen new zoid work and blox work to staff. Specifically GENESIS ZOIDS and BLOX. Does this include bio zoids? :3 well, were not forgetting them, you'll just have to wait and see what happens to them. Oh yeah, were going to make an Orodius bio too. I KNOW RIGHT? Change is good!
So, you want to help with these projects right? I know you do! Well, anyone on staff will be allowed to help with these projects. Including new staff and current staff! So, apply quickly and press on Tilly to get accepted, cause shes incharge of judge apps! Mwahaha, now everyone knows tilly XD You are doomed.
The final bit, some changes to the referal program. For every referal of NEW APPLICANTS to the site, the person who makes the referal will get an extra 20k. For five or more referals, they'll get a free rental slip!
So there you have it, we kick off 2008 with some big site news, and a little bit for everyone. Also! If anyone wants to become an affiliate of MMM, please drop me a line :3 we'll add you to our link page and if you small a small icon add it to the side of the site for equal treatment. New Weapon Images!

A batch of brand new weapons images have been added to the parts shop for your viewing pleasure! Specifically, MX-01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 14, 19, 27, 35 and UP-07. More will be added soon! If you have any concrete idea for what the remaining parts should look like, feel free to PM or IM me.

WOOHOO! Remember all that time ago when your lovely staff informed you that each and every single part was going to be updated? Remember how, whenever you asked staff why we didn't love you anymore, we cried: but parts revisions! Parts revisions!
At long last, the dream is realized, the light at the end of the tunnel is reached: All of the Exclusive Parts - 2 section has been updated!
Feast your eyes on the fruits of our labor! Go and read! Buy your new things! Cackle with delight!
Something to note: if you had purchased and used a part that is no longer there, the part no longer exists. There are no refunds, unless the part in question was purchased in the last week and wasn't used in battle. Contact me over AIM or PM if you have any questions about that.
And now that we've got all that finished, I'm going to dunk my face in cold water and pray I don't wake up with carpal tunnel syndrome! Thanks so much to every staffer on the Parts team - without you, we never could've finished!

New pilots!!. Don 05.27.2007
Why is it I only find time to update this page once a month? Darn lazyness! Oh well, For those of you on the forum, you know the site celebrated its anniversary and everyone had a real blast! But unfortunately, I never got the pilot applications done, so you poor newbies missed out! Well fear not, were gonna hold a mini weeks worth of events!
First, the newbies! Charles Sparks, Draconas, Forta Delrose, Garrow Lotus, Kyle Scimitar, Lucien Soulfite, Oskar Dunwair, Rissen Azith, Tezuka Motoshi, Thomas Lowenhart, Tony Ivey and Vool Jennings!
Second, the event! Firstly, for one week all pilots will recieve double funds for wins and draws, and judges will get double JP! Time to get the action going! Secondly, were going to be organizing a newbie only tournament. So keep your eyes out for that! Oh, and FYI, I'll be holding my event stomp this tuesday, just FYI all. Welcome newbies!

Hot damn, two weeks after we started, were on a new server, with all our old data saved and everything working! I know it took a long time, but it was worth it. enjoy your new more stable server, more uptime, and more benefits! As another bonus, we'll be extending the anniversary special events for 5 days, So it will go on until May 10th! Also, except a grip of tournaments bashes classes and rashes! Wait...Rashes? That doesn't make sense. Sh33p needs to stop writing for me...Anyways! Lots of good stuff, I guarantee it! Infact, we need a game.
The bring people back game! Find a member of the site, and tell them the sites back up, and then post that tiny convo in the news forum! The prize, 10k for j00! Enjoy, and welcome back all!

So, after the recent battle with downtime we've decided enough is enough, and were preping the site to move. Alot of this just involves moving the sites money around to get our ducks in a row and make things happen. Were moving to IX hosting, who offers 24/7 chat and phone support and lots of other nifty features.
The soonest the move could happen is this friday, which means everyone needs to start doing stuff like backing up your sigs and important RPs just incase. During the downtime we may hold an OC just to keep things rolling. Hopefully the downtime would only be 24-48 hours and would start friday at the earliest or monday at the latest. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Those of you on the forums already know, Metal Machine Music turned five on the 28th of this month! This website has been through some insane ups and downs, we've seen many sites come, and go. But whats the most gratifying of all is seeing how much strength M3 has left in her. We had an amazing summer with great activity. We have had regular events for the last four months, Dozens of new members, new staff, new judges. Financially, the sites been better off then its ever been before, and were poised to make a server move as soon as were sure we can find a good host. Were just as tired of all the downtime as our members are, and we don't want to move to another racknine or block9, we have bad luck with the number nine.
but back to business! This updates going to contain alot of information in it, I suggest y'all take notes, you'll wanna review this later.
First of all, new pilots yay! welcome Barixi, Charles, Haimey, Hunter, J. hawk, Krazer, Lance, Lucas, Raku, and Ryuu to our ranks!
Additionally, our Store got an awesome update. Jericho has drawn two new amazing pieces of art for us! Also, many of the other shirts got some tastey redos and some of the older less popular art was removed. Expect to see ALOT of store updates in the future. Remember, everytime you order something from the store, your not just getting a cool piece of MMM merchandise, your supporting the site you love AND advertising! That shirt you buy may make the difference in the next five years!
Next! We have ALOT of events lined up. Your going to keep an eye on the Event forum for updates on what were doing and when! What I can tell you is the next five weeks will be an explosive celebration of M3's history and splendor, this is a great chance for pilots to get those rare items they've always wanted, or just build up their cash! We love you pilots!
Finally, a word from me. Metal Machine Music was a project I started when I was 17 years old. Its hard to imagin its already been five years. When it started, I barely knew HTML, I didn't know much about zoids and honestly? I was in a bit over my head. But over the years we've had some amazing things happen. M3 formed a community of strong, intellegent people. It gained enough popularity to deserve its own server, and advertising. Its outlasted not just every zoid RPG, but nearly every zoid site on the internet. We are one of the biggest most active zoid communities on the internet barnone. With some other big zoid sites starting to fall apart, its amazing to see how strong we still are. Smart money says we'll still be here next year.
I want to take a moment to thank my staff, past present and future. You are the work horses of M3. Sometimes we don't always see eye to eye, sometimes we get along great, but through it all we have achieved more then most people can hope to in their lifetimes. M3 has done alot of great things. It has brought people togather, formed relationships, its even helped people grow into adults. For some people, we will always be a part of their lives, in that way we can never die. I'm proud of this site, and everyone in it. I'm proud to have worked alongside you, and I'm proud to have been many of your friends. Thank you for helping make M3 what it is today.
And a final thank you goes to our amazing members. I have met people from all over the world thanks to Metal Machine Music. I have learned more, laughed more and certainly loved more then any other time in my life. You are amazing people, diverse and unique as any group I've ever met. We wouldn't be even a tenth as awesome as we are now without you.
So that said, enjoy the next five weeks, M3 will be a place of excitement and action for quiet a while! If your new, stop in and check it out, if your old, come give us a visit, and if your current, well, you've probly already raked in some of the awesomeness! Happy anniversary Metal Machine Music!
